Guys–it’s been MONTHS! I have no excuses for the lack of updating, except for that we’ve just been busy being happily married. :) I finally got around to compiling all the photos from our honeymoon in Spain (we had them in, like, five different places) and then I had to edit them. Actually, I had to edit them twice, because I lost the first batch of edited photos. Seriously. Have no idea where they went.
Anyway, let’s get started! Erick and I were beyond blessed to have such an amazing honeymoon. It was such a welcome rest after the busyness of wedding planning and the actual wedding weekend, and, more than that–it was much NEEDED so we could recover from our sickness. Let me tell you, that thing about getting sicker at night is totally true–I was hacking up a lung almost as soon as we left our reception to go to Boston. So romantic. But by the morning, we both were already feeling much better.
Erick’s boutonniere (kind of) survived the night. Am I the only one who has to Google boutonniere every time I spell it? Thank goodness those days of corresponding with a florist are over now.
We spent the night in the Marriott Custom House Tower in McKinley Square in Boston. We didn’t get far enough away from the skyscraper to get a decent shot, so here is a photo of the replica they had in the lobby. It’s such a beautiful old building.

We had a little bit of time before our flight to Spain, so we decided to go up to the top of our hotel and see the view of the city and the harbor. It did not disappoint. Check out the panorama from Erick’s phone! (Click to view full screen)
Funny story: Somehow my makeup bag got lost in the shuffle on the wedding day, and I had nothing. Nothing. So you only get pictures of Erick in Boston.

We walked all around the top of the building–there was no one else up there! It was a great way to start our honeymoon–in my favorite city!
We grabbed some authentic Boston pizza–expensive, but totally worth it–headed to Walgreens to get me some eyeliner (a girl’s gotta look somewhat presentable!), and then spent the rest of our morning hanging out in a park blowing leftover wedding bubbles at each other and just letting the fact that WE’RE FINALLY MARRIED! soak in.
Next up: We fly to Spain! And get totally lost!
