Just taking a little break from wedding recaps to write a quick site (and life) update!

First, you might have noticed a couple of changes on the site. In addition to a different background and font color, we have a new header now. Using our full names seemed odd since my name isn’t the same anymore. So we’re using our site URL (and hashtag, which turned out to be pretty popular), the little heart that appeared on quite a few of our wedding pieces and a little slogan that calls back to our wedding entrance sign (Happily Ever After Starts Here).

I haven’t removed the wedding-related links yet… maybe because I really don’t wanna take down our uber-cool Wedding Party page yet! Those will come down eventually when we have more categories of content. I’m not in a rush to move everything yet. It’s a transition. Just like our lives are turning out to be. :)

It’s been a little over 100 days since Erick and I were married (we celebrated by stuffing our faces at Olive Garden’s Never Ending Pasta Bowl).

Our house is coming along–the new couch FINALLY arrived, which sent me into a frenzy of finding the right curtains to make the room look somewhat more complete–post on that to come later, too. But there still isn’t much on the walls in the living room. Haha. That’s okay. Our house can’t be perfect in a day. It’s actually fun to create a home like this, little by little, day by day. That’s how we’re building our marriage too.

So yes, we’re still working on wedding recaps–hope you’re enjoying them–but the site is slowly getting ready for the upcoming home improvements and #newlyweddisasters! Stay tuned!
